On June 6, 2009, the ladies of Curves Bethesda will be walking to help find a cure for breast cancer in Washington DC. This is the 6th year that Curves Bethesda has been a part of this race -- meaning that every year that Curves has been open, they have participated.
This is the 20th annual Race for the Cure and they have gone global, not just national. Run by the Susan G. Komen Foundation, this race raised over $3.8 million last year in DC alone. The ladies of Curves Bethesda are hoping to raise $1,500 to assist in helping to raise even more this year. If you have $5, $25, $100, or more, please donate.
